The Fool’s Journey

“A town, a forest, a king, a fool .... a fairy tale”

Book & Lyrics – Ben Cornfoot      Music – Natalie Curley

Directed by Cienda McNamara

Somewhere in the future, inside a bubble of air grows perhaps the last forest on earth - giver of life, nature’s refuge - suddenly dying and nobody knows why. To save the bubble the forest people, old crones all, must venture beyond the trees, and sneak by night into the town where dwell that most feared of creatures – human beings! Can they find one capable of love, before it is too late? Will their beautiful daughter work it out? Can the hapless town fool even save himself, let alone the world? This is eccentric, exciting, home-grown music theatre made for now.
